Miss Idalia is casting a disapproving eye at Teresita for various reasons. There are stories, and look at the way she is dressed. Her little girl is pilfering grapes and what’s more, a pickni in a da belly da for who? Some say it is for Idalia’s man. Oh my!!

Kanisha is selecting some fruit for her weight loss diet before she affixes her slipping bra strap. Wilfred also known as “———–” is rushing to go somewhere and Bulldog is waiting with his pigtail bucket of dirty water and rag, to ask someone if he can wash their windshield for a shilling. Each one is part of the local flavor and boil-up.
The Belmopan Market is exceptional with all the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables that span a wide band of latitude. There are grapes, apples, potatoes, carrots, even pears, none of which grow in Belize. Then there are all the wonderful fruits and vegetables that are grown locally, papaya, bananas, mango, pineapple and pitaya, just to name a few. All of these are within the budget of the common person.
For the most part, Belizeans are unaware of how blessed they are. They do not know that most of the world does not enjoy the abundance of produce, the quality and variety. They do not appreciate that they do not have to stand in line or walk miles for a meager amount. May abundance prevail and gratitude emerge.

Hello Carolyn.
I am with the Belize Mission Project. I stayed at Banana Bank last week and visited your gallery. I am interested in the “Blue Slippers “ print. What sizes do they come in?
